Membership into the Alpha Omega Sorority is limited to current Undergraduates and Graduated Christian women who are approved by the National Alpha Omega Chapter.

Prospective members must submit a letter of interest to the chapter she seeks to join or the National Secretary of Alpha Omega. Upon receipt of the interest letter the chapter will notify the member by invitation to an interest meeting if she is accepted as a candidate for membership.

In order to qualify as a candidate for regular membership, one must meet all membership qualifications:

All candidates for membership must be at least 18 years of age, and are currently enrolled in a two or four year accredited college/university pursuing a degree or possesses a degree from a two or four year accredited college/university with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Membership Types:

Undergraduate - members currently attending College campuses and Universities.

Graduate/Alumni - members who have completed college/university requirements and possess a degree from said college/university. Undergraduate Sorors become Graduate Sorors of the sorority when they complete their education or terminate their affiliation with their college or university chapter. A Soror may not hold active Membership in an undergraduate chapter and a graduate chapter simultaneously.

Legacy -members who are recognized by birthright.
